If i m sitting in a chair i just twist to pop my lower or i lay down and cross a leg over my body. To avoid falling forward you might compensate by leaning back which can strain the muscles in your lower back and contribute to back pain during pregnancy. As the weight begins to pile on it may get harder to crack your back. Be aware that discomfort you may feel in your back could be due to the weight and position of your baby.
Aside from being more heavy and unable to fully twist i ve still managed to get a few pops in there and i m totally fine. Just like yours do when you crack your neck or fingers.
