It s perfectly safe to use distilled water on your plants.
It then drips into your bowl and voila. Using distilled water to grow plants. Just because you are working with pure water doesn t mean that your plants are going to thrive. Not only that when you know the exact chemical composition of your water you have total control over the nutrients your plants receive.
It is always a good idea to water your garden and plants using normal tap water for their best health. The water in the pot heats up and evaporates but then hits the cold lid and condensates. Though you can water your plants using distilled water once a while we don t recommend using it on a regular basis as it is devoid of many necessary minerals. More on that later.
All plants benefit from the use of distilled water but it is even more important for indoor plants. You are left with clean water that is better for your plants. Perfectly distilled water usually ends up with a ph of 7 which is neutral. The process of distillation removes minerals and chemicals from water.

If you have houseplants you may want to water them with distilled water. While that sounds promising many plants don t mind tap water. You re left with pure water. In fact your plants may experience several benefits.
