For they shall be comforted even in this world with the consolation that arises from a sense of the forgiveness of sins peace with god clear discoveries of his favour and well grounded lively hopes of the heavenly inheritance and with the full enjoyment of that inheritance itself in the world to come. It is safe to say that the secular world today does not have much time for mourning. The term mourn means to experience deep grief in keeping with his theme of spiritual blessedness jesus seems to indicate that this mourning is due to grief over sin.
