Can You Get Your Period Twice In One Month After Taking Plan B
Camila Farah
Oh yes that can happen.
I had my period at the beginning of this month. If your period is delayed more than a week or if you have any other cause for concern contact your healthcare professional. The double bleeding you experienced in august was most likely just caused by taking plan b so close to your first period s ending. You may also experience a few days of spotting after taking plan b which is normal.
More than occasional use more than once within a menstrual cycle or more than once a month may impact your menstrual cycle. And i m assuming it s a period because i ve not stopped for about 4 days now. Plan b is a huge dose of artificial hormone for your body to deal with. Pulling out is no birth control method at all.
Your cycle is probably just really screwed up because you aren t supposed to take plan b like that. It will often delay periods with one dose and you took two. When you take a morning after pill so close to your period s ending you have a higher probability of experiencing what we call withdrawal bleed which on a side note is not an actual period. A week later i start to bleed again.
