Olivia Luz
You re pregnant and there s no heartbeat at 9 weeks and maybe still no heartbeat at10 weeks pregnant.
Following this the heartbeat becomes normal and stabilizes between 120 and 160bpm during the second and third trimesters. It took the midwife a little while to find it though. I feel so silly brining this up when i know i am not alone. If you have an ultrasound at 9 weeks and there is no heartbeat detected that means your pregnancy isn t viable and you re having a miscarriage.
But if you re talking about not being able to hear. Once after seeing the heartbeat on three seperate occasions then at 14 week scan there was nothing. Why you might not hear baby s heartbeat you. Or you may not hear a heartbeat until you are 12 weeks along.
Like you no cramping no blood no symptoms. I m so sorry to hear this happened to you. The lack of audible heartbeat can be frightening if you don t know what to expect. With all this growth you ll probably be able to hear your baby s heartbeat for the first time around week 9 or week 10 of pregnancy though it can vary a bit.

If you are at least eight or nine weeks along at your first prenatal visit your doctor or midwife may use a fetal doppler or a fetal doppler stethoscope to pick up the sound of your baby s heart beating. Once at 9 weeks.
